I have used the conservation tiles at my own property and also at a Development Property through my business, the ones at my own property are very close to a new build I built using Bradstone Conservation slates on the roof and everyone agrees Fairford slates are much more traditional in appearance. I have also had absolutely no problems with breakages etc in the last 3 years since the tiles were installed. The conservation Officers also seem to be extremely keen on these tiles.
